So much to see and do
Uniquely situated in a dramatic clifftop position with spectacular views over Bridlington and set in 50 acres of early 19th Century parkland, Sewerby Hall and Gardens offers something for everyone, from the magnificent gardens and zoo to the deep rooted heritage of the house.
The House
Relive history as you explore the Grade 1 listed Sewerby Hall. The house was built throughout 1714 and 1720 by the Graeme family. Further extensions were added between 1808 and 1856 to include the portico, stable block, gatehouse and Orangery.
A full refurbishment of the house in 2013 has restored the home property to how it would have looked in 1910. Come and experience a genuine Edwardian home, transformed using furniture from the Victoria and Albert Museum.
Gardens
Sewerby Hall has more than 50 acres of award-winning gardens and woodland. Each garden offers its own variety of sights, smells and sounds throughout each of the four seasons. There's also a Marie Curie Daffodil Trail throughout spring. You'll soon learn why we won Yorkshire in Bloom Gold: 2008-11 when you explore the magnificent gardens.
Zoo
Our furry family includes critters great and small, from guinea pigs and micro pigs, to SikaSika Deer and Cameroon Sheep. Catch the Capuchin monkeys playing around their home, watch the mischievous pygmy goats or go see the cute Raccoon Dogs in their enclosures. With degus, llamas and more too, you'll fall in love with all our animals. Found a favourite? You can adopt them from just £20 a year!
