Join us here at Sewerby Hall, for Museum Monday, an illustrated talk or handling session linked to Sewerby Hall, the Museum or the Museum collections. In the years leading up to 1914 Britain narrowly avoided war on several occasions. Ironically each time war was avoided another step toward the Great War was taken. This talk explores the wars that never were and how they fed into the causes of the Great War of 1914-1918. Normal admission applies, meet at the Welcome Centre.
