A fun filled day all about wildlife and nature! Join us for crafts, interactive storytelling, face painting, fat ball making, and more. The Fun Day includes:
Rusticus Woodland Encounter: Fascinating Frog takes place at 11.30am, 1pm and 2.30pm. Step into the world of whimsical love-lorn musician, Fascinating Frog. Help him to prepare for an evening of singing down at the stream, by together creating his most epic song ever, inspired by the woods and gardens at Sewerby Hall! Outdoor performance walk with a larger than life character. Lasts approx. 30 mins.
Fat Ball Making takes place from 11-11.30am and 1-1.30pm Come along and join the zookeepers to make nutritious fat balls for the local wild birds, then take them home to hang in your garden!
Face Painting takes place from 10.30am-3.30pm Our professional face painter will be available, with lots of animal and plant themed options to choose from.
Active Coast sessions take place from 10.30am-12.30pm and 1.30pm-3.30pm Join the team to explore the wonderful world of nature, with a range of activities including rock painting and leaf and bug prints! Dress for the weather, and bring a change of clothes, just in case!
Crafts and other activities take place from 10.30am-3.30pm Join staff and volunteers from Sewerby Hall, East Riding Children’s Centres, the Family Information Service Hub, and Bridlington Library Service, for fun crafts and other activities, all about nature.
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
