An afternoon of music in the Orangery : Classical Piano Duet. Graziana Presicce is an Italian pianist, currently completing her PhD studies in Music Performance at the University of Hull as part of the university's scholarship programme. As a performer, Graziana actively engages in recitals in and out of Hull, both as a soloist and accompanist, as well as joining local chamber ensembles. Past engagements include what is believed to be the recorded premiere of works by the Hull-born composer Ethel Leginska, performed with baritone Lee Tsang as part of the Hull City of Culture 2017 (March 2017). Yorkshire-born pianist Amy Butler studied with British concert pianist Martin Roscoe and at Lady Margaret Hall, University of Oxford. Amy enjoys an active performing career and has a particular passion for collaborating with other musicians. She is a staff pianist for the East Riding Music Hub, accompanies several choral societies, and regularly appears in concert with flautist Chris Hill and tenor Steven Goulden.Amy has performed across the UK at venues including Southwell Minster, Wakefield and Ripon Cathedrals, Hull City Hall, Christ Church Southport, Doncaster Museum, Beverley Minster, and for the Bourneville Concert Series, the Eric Coates Society and the Guild of Musicians and Singers.Standard admission charges apply.
