An afternoon of music in the Orangery: Listen, sing, tap your feet and rattle your jewellery to the one and only Driffield Ukulele Band. The Band Covers a wide range of music from the distant past to present day including pop, folk and country, jazz and blues and contemporary rock. Some of us, to be fair, can remember the distant past better than the contemporary.
The Band started its life as an offshoot of the Driffield ukulele improvers group with the University of the 3rd Age (U3A). It grew from strength to strength during the covid pandemic producing two DVDs and, at one stage, a track a week. Check this out at
